In 2012, officials from the University System of New Hampshire and the Community College System of New Hampshire committed to double the number of STEM-educated graduates from their institutions by 2025.

  • Environmental Justice
    Simone Chapman stands at the beach Simone Chapman ’20G, a master’s student in environmental conservation at UNH, has received a Science Policy Fellowship from the Gulf Research Program of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. One of nine 2020 fellows, Chapman will spend one year on the staff of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Commission helping develop metrics for community vulnerability and affordable housing, support production of geospatial data, analyze housing policy and aid in the development of a plan for climate resiliency. “As a person of color, I wanted to give back, and policy seemed like a place to have influence and advocate for these vulnerable communities.” “I’ll help integrate affordable housing policies into climate vulnerability assessments and resilience planning for communities...
  • Improving STEM Education

UNH has the widest offerings in the state, with bachelor, master and doctoral-level programs in a range of science, technology and engineering fields.

  STEM Pipeline

2020欧洲杯时间安排UNH is taking the long view on STEM education by introducing kids as young as age seven to science and technology with summer programs, internships, and hands-on fun. And in partnerships with the Community College System of New Hampshire, we've smoothed the pathway from two-year to four-year degrees in STEM fields.
